Τα νέα σχέδια προέβλεπαν την τοποθέτηση προστατευτικών φραγμών γύρω από την κατασκευή (τόσο υπόγεια όσο και υπέργεια) με ενισχυμένο γυάλινο δάπεδο ώστε να μπορεί κανείς να τα θαυμάσει από το δρόμο.
